Maya Yena is a multidisciplinary artist who has graduated from Interactive/ Media/ Design department at The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague.
Her work takes a view of social and human behavior. Analyzing how people interact with each other, physical/virtual products, and systems appeal to her interest. The passion in interactivity and new media has influenced her works. Often times these themes are combined into photography/videography, art installations, interactive concepts, sculpture etc.
While she uses a variety of media in each project her subject is consistent - designs that manifest an ideology and trigger specific human interaction.
